More importantly, German is a language not only spoken by some of the most important figures of the past, but also the present. Germany is Europe's largest economy, the chief member state of the EU, and a technological and artistic center. Germany's known for its delicious food, stunning architecture, cutting-age technology, red-line automotive industry (think Porche, BMW, Audi...), and star soccer league, among other things.
